Why I capture memories:
I was around 13 the first time I held a camera. Nothing fancy, just a small point and shoot. It was blue and held film. I was beyond excited to get my hands on this little camera. I don't believe it was even mine or a gift, it was something old and forgotten in my parents desk drawer. Didn't matter, I was thrilled. I called for my two younger brothers, Brien and Kurt. I did my first ever mini shoot. It wasn't the greatest but was it fun. I was hooked.

Fast forward a few year, age 16. I got the worst news a girl could ever get. My brother, Brien, was killed in a car crash along with two of his best friends (they were also good friends of mine), Katie and Curtis. One of the last pictures of him is one I took at Christmas time. At that moment I knew a picture is more than a 1000 words, its a memory. One that could never be recreated. A moment forever captured on film. It may be the first of many moments or the last of many memories.

I will forever look at pictures a little differently. It's why I believe in capturing every moment. That cry, that silly look, that smile, that sleeping baby. Every Moment Matters.About AimeeLeigh:
Now a little about me. Of course I still love to photograph and I still believe it is fun. I am a little shy but love to have fun, love football (GO PACK GO), I grew up in SoCal. I have 7 siblings, Kyle, Stacey, Brien, Katie, Kurt, Kaitlyn(Kake) and Aaron(Bear). I am number two in that line up. I have one perfect niece, Madison. I have one pretty cool Brother in Law, Mike. He married my awesome sister, Stacey. I hope that someday the two of them will give me a nephew or another niece. I have four parents. Yes you read that right, four. I just joined my first fantasy football league. Go Burlington Wolverines. I enjoy playing slow pitch softball, even though I am no good at it. I also love to craft and wish I could sew. I have 3 little girls aside from my niece who call me Auntie. Kaydence, Kensley and Storie. I go to church on Sundays. I love small towns. I have a tendency to call kids monkeys or monsters. It's out of love, I promise. I hope to someday be married with a couple of monsters of my own. I listen to all kinds of music, right now I love country music. I am a little addicted to Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. I love all things Disney but I absolutely LOVE Peter Pan. I enjoy some good super hero movies. My favorite super heroes, Wolverine and Captain America. And that is a little about me.
